Tobias Laimer

Upon receiving my M.Sc. in Physics and a degree in Environmental Studies from LMU Munich, I joined the global land ecosystem modelling group in August 2022 as a PhD student. In addition to the doctorate, I am also Almut’s research assistant for the climate expert council Baden-Wuerttemberg.

I am interested in multiple facets of the current climate and ecological crises and especially their interactions, shared solutions and crucial tradeoffs. Therefore, I am excited to be able to work on a multitude of related topics within the working group’s projects such as STEPSEC, as well as in the climate expert council.
